 Dan Irby
Dan Irby - Dan grew up in Tonkawa, a small wheat farming community in north-central Oklahoma. He left there to attend Oklahoma State University where he attained B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Animal Physiology. He then moved to Melbourne Australia for three years in the position of Research Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry at Melbourne University.
He next went to The Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore Maryland for five years in the Department of Population Dynamics as a Medical Research Associate.
His next position was back in Melbourne as a Professional Officer and Deputy Laboratory Manager in the Anatomy Department at Monash University. After 17 years, he moved north to tropical Queensland in 1993 and started Mangrove Adventures.
